A Historic Wreck

Originally built in Trieste between 1909 and 1911 as the Wien for Österreichischer Lloyd, the vessel later served under several names and roles throughout its remarkable history. During World War II, it became the Italian hospital ship Po before being sunk by British aircraft in March 1941. Today, it rests peacefully on the seabed, preserving a fascinating piece of naval history.
